Welcome to the Matawan Huskies Youth Football and Cheer organization, a proud 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to fostering athletic excellence and community spirit among our local youth. Rebuilt from the ground up in 2024, we are a revitalized organization driven by a passionate new executive board comprising residents from Aberdeen, Matawan, and the surrounding communities.

Our mission is to reintroduce competitive football to our local youth, emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Starting with zero funds, we transformed our vision into reality through generous donations and relentless fundraising efforts. This community support enabled us to host a successful Spring season in 2024, featuring our vibrant recreational Flag Football Program, competitive 9U, 13U, and 14U tackle football teams, and a spirited sideline cheer squad.

Rebuilding our program from scratch required investing in brand-new equipment, countless board meetings, and countless hours of dedication from our volunteers. These efforts have put Matawan Youth Football back on the map, stronger than ever.

This year, we are excited to join the New Jersey Chapter of AYF Tackle Football in the Jersery Shore Conference, which ensures that our teams are composed of local youth. Our exceptional coaching staff at all levels is committed to teaching the fundamentals of football correctly and safely, fostering a love for the game in a supportive and encouraging environment.
